"At the start of my EFT I was doubtful that anything could help me with the phobia I’ve suffered with for over 15 years. Despite years of therapy, trying lots of difficult techniques, nothing had worked. During the process, whilst working on particular incidences of the phobia I had experienced, it gradually became more difficult to remember these experiences. “I was struggling with anxiety when going on car journeys with my spouse. It had been happening for a long time and I came to expect it at certain parts of the journey. I would feel anxious and then annoyed with him about his driving. I then learnt breathwork with Nicola. I started to practice the breathwork as soon as we left the house and it had a profound effect. “Previous to learning the breathwork techniques, I experienced panic attacks and anxious thoughts multiple times a day. I had no feeling of connection to my life. 

I was avoiding a lot of situations that I worried would bring on a panic attack making me feel isolated and stupid. 

Breathwork has worked so well for me to control anxious thoughts, rising panic and panic attacks. Things that trigger anxious thoughts or panic attacks suddenly don't appear frightening anymore. It helps me feel calm, connected to my life and the people around me and as a result, I am less anxious. I rarely get rising panic or anxious thoughts and when I do, I use the breathwork to get my thoughts and physical reactions under control so I can move on from the anxious thought and get back to living my life. 

With practice, breathwork has become my go-to tool when I am feeling anxious, in part because it can be done anywhere, at anytime and no one around you can see that you are doing it. I have more confidence in situations that previously triggered panic because I know I can use the breathing techniques at anytime to get control.”
